How it works
Step 1 - Create your list
Easily import data from your existing CRM packages such as Act. Emu allows you to set up whatever fields you want to match the data you currently hold. All you need to start is a list of email addresses. Import, cut and paste or manually add in subscriber details. Alternatively, set up an easy to create 'sign-up' form to go on your web site. Subscribers can be placed in one or more lists and you can further categorise your subscribers by setting up interests and demographic fields. Emu even lets you move subscribers to different lists, de-duplicate data and export data back out again so you can re-import back in to your other databases.
Step 2 - Create your email templates
Emu comes pre-installed with dozens of stunning email templates for you to use. Simply select a template, edit and you're ready to go. If you want to try your hand at creating your own designs, Emu has an easy to use email editor that's as simple to use as Word (it even has a spellchecker). Cut and paste text and images, format your text and insert fields from your lists to personalise every email that goes out. Don't forget to include links in your emails. Instant tracking lets you know when someone clicks on your links.
Step 3 - Create & send your campaign
Simply select who you wish to send to (your audience), which email you wish to send and then schedule a time. Send yourself a test email, send your campaign immediately or schedule up to a year in advance. Next time you come to send, no need to set up your audience again, simply re-use past campaigns.
View the results
Instantly see how many emails you have sent, who opened them, who clicked on your links. Track the results, build reports and watch your marketing campaigns produce real results. View graphic rich reports online or download data to import in to your own software.
Take control
The Emu Control Panel lets you customise Emu to your needs. Emu can be set to advanced or beginner mode. Set you timezone so you can schedule campaigns to your own clock, set up multiple users with different access rights so staff can create email templates, import lists or create draft campaigns. Set up sales team members who can follow up subscribers who are clicking on your links.
Look to the future
Emu is constantly evolving. Coming soon will be SMS integration so you can conduct email and mobile campaigns simultaneously. Foreign language support will be added so you can easily switch Emu to other languages. Future features will automatically be added to your copy of Emu.
